Ralphie and I have been competing in DockDogs and Ultimate Air Dogs since 2008 when we first saw DockDogs at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, NY and have been competing ever since. We later heard  about Ultimate Air Dogs from another competitor.  Now we have traveled as far as Salem, OR to Charleston, SC competing.

In 2010 DockDogs invited the top 8 Youth Handlers to their World Championships.  We traveled to three national events Charleston, SC, Virginia Beach, VA, and Scarborough, ME to qualify for Worlds.  We later heard that Worlds was going to be in Salem, OR and there was no way we could afford to travel all the way to Oregon.  But with a lot of prays and help from friends, and our local DockDogs club, my mom, Ralphie, and I were able to fly out to Salem, OR for the DockDogs Steel Dogs and Logs World Championships.  We placed first and I am the DockDogs 2010 World Champion Youth Handler.

Ralphie and I were again invited to the DockDogs World Championships 2012.  We just missed finals, but we still had an amazing time and it was another great experience we will never forget.

Ralphie is a very special yellow lab.  He likes to be the biggest clown on and off the dock and make everyone laugh.  Weather its stopping in the middle of a speed retrieve run to say hi and give the kids on the side of the pool kisses or doing his world famous “Head Dive,” he loves to put on a show.
